Interesting tab related behaviour [message #124788] Sun, 28 March 2004 17:07 Go to next message

I've just upgraded to the latest integration release of both Eclipse (m8)
and GEF. I'm observing some interesting behaviour with the tab, when I
hover the mouse over a tab containing a GEF editor I get a large empty
grey rectangle displayed in the centre of Eclipse (filling about two
thirds of the Eclipse window). Usually I would expect to see a tooltip
with the full file name, which indeed I do on both the logic and flow
editor. Is this the beginning of some form of new fast previewing (if so
- it is a great idea! - how do I see the diagram!?). If not, what's
happening, and why is it happening in my GEF editors and not the
logic/flow?

Thanks.

James

If you are talking about the editor tabs, they aren't contrlled be GEF and
there is no such preview function. Ask on the platform newsgroup. It
sounds like a bug.
