Restrictions of AGR for GEF [message #121109] Mon, 21 January 2008 03:28 Go to next message

Hi,
I want to test a GEF-Editor with AGR. Most of the things work with
position based recording. Things that don't work are context menus,
shortcuts and drag&drop.
Please, can you tell me what are the exact restrictions for such
interactions and maybe how I can solve the problem of testing them?
Thanks,
Stephan

Hi Stephan,

In TPTP 4.5, the AGR was moved from Technology Preview component to an
As-Is component. As-Is components are primarily provided for prior users
but imply no support (for example, defects, news group, and mailing lists).

The AGR currently does not support recording and playback of GEF
applications. Please see the following
enhancement:

https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=133099

If you are interested in contributing to this enhancement, please add a
comment in the Bugzilla. There is an opportunity here to collaborate, since
there are several other folks interested in contributing to this
enhancement.
