Hi Devs,

Is it possible to attach one edit part to another, without a connection? I
am trying to draw an edit part with a horizontal line going into it and
coming out of it. I want to affix this edit part directly to another edit
part and use it the same way as a connection between the two.

Has anybody tried this? Please give me your comments.

Thanks!

Bharath.

Does "affixing" mean that the model is updated somehow to represent the
link? Could you do this in the MOVE request?

Hi Randy,

Yes. The edit part attached to the horizontal line on the left becomes the
source and the edit part attached to the horizontal line on the right
becomes the target. Since I will not have a connection, I'm unsure of how
to link the source and target.

Could you do this in the MOVE request?

When an edit part connected to either end of the horizontal line moves,
the edit part with lines on either side also has to move. I believe this
is why I would need the MOVE request. Please correct me if I am wrong.

Thanks much for your time and comments!

Bharath.
