...gef.ui.actions.DeleteAction not found [message #115339] Tue, 03 February 2004 10:59 Go to next message
Eclipse UserFriend
I am trying to run the NetworkEditor from the RED BOOK, using EMF and GEF.
When I try to create a document of the type .network I get a java
NoSuchMethodError for ...get.ui.actions.DeleteAction.

I have installed 2.1.2 GEF and am running Eclipse 2.1.2.

Any ideas..?

Thanks,

Mark.

And which method is it that is missing? Are you compiling the source
yourself? You should have a compoile error.

I assume the DeleteAction method...

I have done a complete rebuild of the project, no compiler error.

Is it possible that the classpath for the runtime workbench is not
correct..? Since I have compile errors it seems to be runtime only.

Thanks,
Mark

Sorry, that was it.

I checked the library list for the plugin developement target platform,
and the new version of GEF was not listed. I restarted Eclipse and
everything is working.
