Enable/disable custom toolbar shortcuts automatically [message #10521] Wed, 27 May 2009 10:59
Eclipse UserFriend
Hello newsgroup,

I wonder if it is possible to enable toolbar shortcuts automatically
depending from a view's behaviour, like the SAVE, SAVE_ALL and PRINT
shortcuts do for example.
I created some actions to export the content of a View into various
formats, and now I'd like to create shortcuts for those actions in the
toolbar. If no View is open, these shortcuts are ought to be disabled
and vice versa.
Do I have to write some extra piece of code with listeners, etc. or is
it possible to plug-in these actions somewhere?

Best regards,
Lars
