newly generated diagram code fails when trying to create a new diagram [message #114811] Tue, 27 March 2007 18:09 Go to next message

I just re-generated all code using the just downloaded v2.0M5uh (from a
prior v2.0M5).

After regeneration I open the Run-dialog. I first deselect everything,
then I select my project <foo> plus all generated projects, i.e.
<foo>.diagram, <foo>.edit and <foo>.editor and then click "add required
plugins" and finally I run the application.

The runtime workbench comes up as expected. In it I try to create a new
diagram using New => Other... => Examples => <foo> Diagram. I hit "Next"
and I get an error "Problem Opening Wizard: the selected wizard could
not be started". ????!?

There is no entry in the logs, neither in the developing instance's log
nor in the runtime-workbench's log. How do I debug this? How do I find
out, why I now can't create any new diagrams any more???

Was it working first (with GMF 2.0 M5)? If so, try recreating all the
projects into the new GMF 2.0 M5uh (maybe you can use the dashborad to make
it easier/faster)...

Floppy

??? that's exactly what I had tried and which caused the described
error.
I have not recreated the .gmf* files (for obvious reasons) but the
..gmfgen and all depending projects (.edit, .editor and .diagram).
