Hi all,

my local history is completely empty although my project has about
50 files right now. The settings in the preferences are ok.

In which directory is the history stored?

Eclipse 2.1.1, Win XP

Regards

J

See Window > Preferences > Workbench > Local History

Default expiration is set to 7 days. All files older than 7 days probably
have been removed.

local history is stored under CVS.

If you edit a file, save it, and then do "compare with local history",
do you see the previous version?

OK, got it.

I've chosen the wrong menu item. "compare with local history" is what I
was looking for and it works fine.

Thank you very much....
