Copy/Paste problems [message #110224] Thu, 08 March 2007 10:00 Go to next message

I've got some problems with the default copy/paste behaviour : some
information are lost, like the text in the labels. Is it normal ? should
I defined my own copy/paste behaviour ? How ?

Try to use Ids on your domain resource, this might take care of the
issue. if you do not know how to do that search in last week questions i
have told someone on how to do it

Hello,

I´ve tried this approach, but I still can´t get this to work. I inserted
the two classes suggested and registered the new Factory class for the
notational model file my editor produces in the plugin.xml . I´m using
GMF 2.0 . Does this matter? Would be nice if someone could help me.

Greetings,
Christian

You should enable UUIDs for semantic model.

I had tried this, too. I just wanted to check your site again and the
server seems to be down. Could you post your solution here? Then I can
check again if I did it right.

Thanks,
Christian

Nevermind,

I´ve got it to work. But this solution is a little strange I think. The
editor I´ve created is able to create diagrams from the semantic model
files, which comply to an xsd I´ve created. Now with the UUIDs enabled
diagram creation doesn´t work anymore for semantic model files created
manually without the UUIDs. Any ideas on that issue?

Greetings,
Christian
