How to exclude files from Managed Build [message #109738] Wed, 07 July 2004 11:22 Go to next message

Hi,

We are starting to experiment with the CDT 2.0 Managed Build stuff. We
have started with a basic C++ project by creating the Eclipse project in
the same directory as the existing C++ code. This appears fine. The
problem we have is that some of the code is in .cc files which are
template source files. I have little understanding of these things, but am
advised that we shouldn't be building these files directly - they're
included via .h files.

So, my question is, in a Managed Build environment, is there a way to get
Eclipse CDT 2.0 to ignore certain files (and, indeed, certain directories)?

Rgds,

Dan.
Yes, that is a very good question [message #111262 is a reply to message #109738] Fri, 16 July 2004 20:10 Go to previous message

That I'd like to know the answer to as well. This feature was added to the
CDT 2.0 release, however it seems it's only available in the un-managed make
projects.
