Hi Heinz,
Eclipse CDT relies on MinGW or Cygwin to do it's compiling, so the first
thing you need to do is get your compiler working with DirectX. I use
MinGW, so I can post some info about that.
There is a mini tutorial on getting DirectX and MinGW playing together
on these forums:
http://forum.eyedolon.com/viewtopic.php?p=778#778
http://forum.eyedolon.com/viewtopic.php?p=1234#1234
The posts refer to the Dev-C++ IDE, but just replace Dev-C++ with
Eclipse CDT and everything should make sense.
I haven't actually got DirectX stuff building with Eclipse yet, but the
only hurdle I have is importing by existing projects into a new managed
CDT project. I have got DirectX9 stuff build with MinGW.
Hope this helps,
Cameron.
