Its a basic java question and should be asked in a java newsgroup.

But just refer to the internet and look for the keywords:
'InputStream OutputStream example'. You will find plenty of
tutorials. Other thing would be to buy a java book and learn
the basic apis. (It's really fundamental Java knowleadge you
are asking about). Also there are many tutorials at java.sun.com
and one is addressing that issus.
