Hello,
I started to use Eclipse+CDT quite recently. I am using 3.0M7. My question
is whether it is possible to customize the filter by adding new the
suffix. It doesn't seem to be possible now.
Previously I have filter available for .o, I'd like to filter out *.d too.
Somehow, now I can only see filters for .* and *.class. It seems to be for
Java, but my CDT perspective is open.
Please help.

Good point.
You should make an enhancement PR for this for CDT 2.0
