I'm using Eclipse 3.1 and I created a launcher for Tomcat.
All runs fine except that each time I launch Tomcat, the
whole project will be recompiled. Is it possible to avoid
it ?

Thank you,

You could turn off the build before launch preference for Run/Debug
See Window>Preferences>Run/Debug>Launching>Build (if required) before
launching
