Chart Legend [message #93569] Mon, 21 November 2005 20:02 Go to next message

I have some questions about the charts legend:

1. How can I change the font of labels in the legend area? (I could'nt
find it out).
2. Can I change the legends icon (For example a 2D square, a triangle, a
circle)?
3. Can I change the size of a legends Icon.

For Pie Charts:

1. If I use labels connected to the pie slices, BIRT lets me create a
label concatenating its name and value. Is it possible to wrap this two
componentes so that the value is below the name?

2. Are there plans to solve the problem of overlapping labels in Version 2?

Thanks a lot

1. This is available in the new chart builder in the latest nightly build or
2M3 (not released yet).
2. The legends icons depend on the series type if you color by series, so
you can't change them. They change automatically.
3. No you can't change the size of legend icons. You can file an enhancement
for that.

Pie Charts
1. No, you can file an enhancement for that.
2. Overlapping labels are fixed already in version 2M2.

Thanks,

David
