Hi,
I tried to install VE 1.1 on Eclipse 3.1. I downloaded the
VE-runtime-1.1.zip and extract it into the eclipse directory. After next
start of eclipse nothing has changed. In an other newsgroup I find the
hint to cleanup the directory "configuration" (delete all except
config.ini). With the next start I could create a "visual class" and in
the editor a tab named "Visual Editor" is displayed, but empty.
Please help.

You also need the EMF runtime for UML2.
After all are install, start Eclipse with -clean option.
Sorry I have not played with UML2. There is a
"Getting Started with UML2" article at
http://dev.eclipse.org/viewcvs/indextools.cgi/%7Echeckout%7E /uml2-home/docs/articles/Getting_Started_with_UML2/article.h tml
You may want to watch the eclipse.tools.uml2 newsgroup.

Sure, just do a search in the IDE help menu.
( Help menu \ Help Contents ) or ( Help menu \ Search )
Then do a search for "Eclipse runtime options".
Three items will be returned that will be of interest.
