The only way I found was to go to the directory C:\Documents and
Settings\dave\workspace\.metadata\.plugins\org.eclipse.core. resources\.projects,
delete the subdirectory for that project, then go to File, Refresh.

It seems to me there must be an easier way?????

thanks - dave

There is..

- Right click project
- Select Delete
- Select either..
1 - Select 'Do not delete contents'. This will drop project from
loading into workspace when you load the workspace.
2 - Select 'Do delete contents' under blabblabblab. This will
physically delete the project from the workspace AND do all of the cleanup.

I think you want the second option.
