Ever since I have been using version 2.1.1, 'Ctrl+c' doesn't function
properly to copy within any editor. When the key sequence is pressed, the
status bar displays 'Ctrl+c'. If I push 'Ctrl+c' again, it disappears & the
selected text will copy. Essentially, I have to push 'Ctrl+c' twice to copy
w/ the keyboard. Anyone else running ver 2.1.1 having this prob?

Thank you,

It sounds like you've gotten yourself in Emacs mode by accident, or somehow
redefined the key. Try this: Select Window > Preferences > Workbench > Keys.
The Active configuration should be Standard (unless you really want Emacs).
Open up the tree for Edit and select Copy. You should see that for the
General context, Standard configuration, the key sequence is simply Ctrl+C.
When you select that key sequence you should see that it is used only for
Copy. If you don't see this then hopefully the dialog will give you a clue
as to what went wrong.

If this doesn't help then I would suggest a clean install of 2.1.1. Save
your workspace, move your existing Eclipse directory out of the way, and
unpack a new one. Sometimes plugins can interfere with standard key
definitions when you start using them in a release they weren't tested for.
