In version 2.1.1 on Mac OS X 10.2.6, in the Debug perspective, Variables
window, I have drilled down into a byte array such that bytes 0-99 100-199
200-299 and 300-399 are displayed in the window. I right-click in the
window and choose Select All, or I select the range of lines in the window
from byte 0 to byte 399. I then either right-click in the window and
chose Copy Variables or I use the key combination apple/C.
I then switch to a TextEdit window, or a scrapbook window in Eclipse and
paste the text using the apple/V key combination. The text pastes in, but
the bytes are not in the order that they appeared in the Variables window
- some of the ranges are declining (199, 198, 197, ...), the ranges are
out of order (100-199 appear above 0-99, etc). In order to be of some
value the pasted data needs to be in the order that it appeared in the
variables window, and in memory.
What is going on here?
