migrating to eclipse: creating a project "in-place"? [message #85529] Thu, 13 November 2003 07:23 Go to next message

Hello everyone

I am migrating from another IDE to eclipse. I have an existing folder tree
(which is under source control), and now I want to use eclipse on it. When
I create a new project in cdt, and then import things, cdt wants to copy
everything to my workspace directory. How can I get it to use the existing
folder structure?

On the second window of the new project wizard there is a check box for "use
default location".

Uncheck this flag and change the location to the directory where your source
exists.
