Zipping test asset files make them impossible to share on CVS/SVN [message #85166] Thu, 12 October 2006 04:54 Go to next message

Hi all,

I wonder if there's an option to disable test assets zipping
(.testsuite, .artifact, .location, .deployment). Indeed, zip file must me
stored as binary files in CVS/SVN and make the merge impossible.
As these files are XML files, is there any way to disable the zipping
process ?

Regards
BQ.

Hi Bertrand,
The test assets (.testsuite, .artifact, .location, .deployment) are EMF
resources that are compressed XMI files. The persistence is handled by EMF
and TPTP does not provide an API to disable compression. Please feel free
to open a TPTP enhancment for this support.
