Hi
I recently updated to eclipse 2.1.1 and installed the latest Tomcat plugin
2.1
I start tomcat from eclipse so that I can use the debugger to debug my
servlets.
I am using a struts-based JSP framework and have set a breakpoint in one of
my Action classes.
I can set breakpoints in my classes, but I can no longer display or inspect
local class variables of the method I am in. In fact, the variables are also
not
showing up in the Variables view....
I have checked and double-checked:
- eclipse preferences related to debugging
- tomcat server.xml (debug mode is on)
If I run standalone programs inside eclipse debugger, then I do see the
variables, so it seems to be something to do with the tomcat integration?
But I am stumped....
Any idea whats causing this??
