Is there any way to configure weblogic 7.0 as a server?
I am using WTPM2 but can upgrade to M3 if required.

Thanks

Hi,

As far as I know WebLogic 7.0 is not currently supported directly by WTP.

Can someone from the server team confirm this?

Hi,

That is correct, only WebLogic 8.1 is currently supported (via the generic
server support).

BEA is now involved in WTP, so it will probably fall to them to decide
whether to provide further WebLogic support or keep this within their
product offerings.

Amol,
As of now there is no built in support for Weblogic in the WTP. I
hope to contribute some help to that but until then, here is an Eclipse
plugin that I wrote that is currently on the BEA CodeShare Open Source
Portal:

https://eclipse-plugin.projects.dev2dev.bea.com/

The 1.x branch lets you run Weblogic inside of Eclipse and debug the
applications you have deployed to it. The 2.x branch will do the same but
allow you to do that with multiple servers and will also let you manage
your deployments and such. The 2.x branch will have a lot more features
but those are the main ones. Hope this helps, Jeremy
