Hi all,

I have used both ATL and Xtend for model 2 model transformations and I
think they both have their advantages. I wonder if we can combine some
components of Xtend if we are going with ATL. In particular, I really
like Xtend's ability to call back into Java routines. This gives a lot
more flexibility, since anyone can extend the language when things are
easier to represent in Java.

Also, do the oAW team think the ATL wrapper for the workflow will
re-appear? I really like oAW's workflow engine, and I think that should
be the heart of almost everything we do here.

that's why it's called xtend ... no, no, just kidding :-)

yes. AFAIK, Bernd has "reactivated" it for 4.1.1, which
will be released any day now .... i.e. soon :-)

I don't want to give away too much yet, but we're
working on something along these lines.

Stay tuned :-)
