Could somebody from the webtools team make a statement regarding this?

no time to maintain JSEditor (and little use for an OO JavaScript editor)
we're looking forward to Eclipse.org taking over."

The JavaScript editor planned for WTP 1.0 doesn't contain all of the
OO features listed for the SourceForge JSEditor project. Despite
the similar names, it's a completely different code base.
Contributors wanting to work on the WTP JavaScript editor are always
welcome.
