and it seems to have worked - it put out a tags file OK.

I believe, in this version CTags/Indexing is disable by default.
Go in the C/C++ property of the project and enable it.

But it will be still incomplete in terms of Code Assist. This
feature was not for this release. But at least "F3" code navigation
should work.... kind of.
