In the help section for eclipse I learned about a
migration utility (jvemigration) for export of classes from
visualage to eclipse.
After download of utility I tried to install it, but
during this installation "visualage" complained about the version
of visualage. Error message: " version of visualage".
I understand that the utility can only be installed on
visualage version 3.53 or higher.
Current version is 3.5 with fixpack 2 - version 3.52
Does anybody know how to upgrade to version 3.53 ?
Thanks

Ove Dahl,
The migration utility is just a helper tool to remove all the VAJava comments
(i.e. //user code begin) and to provide some Visual Editor meta data for each of
the components on the free-form so the positioning would be close to what it was
in VAJava.
The utility is not needed in order to display your VAJava classes in the Visual
Editor. Just import them into an Eclipse Java project, select a class from the
Navigator, MB2-->Open With-->Visual Editor.
I wouldn't recommend spending the time and effort moving up to VAJava 3.53 (or 4.0).
