Hi newsgroup,

I am wondering if once Eclipse 3.0 has been finished would there be
support for generics? I know SDK 1.5 is not shipped right now.

But what is the plan for generics? I read something about early support...

Does anyone know a timetable on SDK 1.5 and Eclipse 3.0?

Hi newsgroup,

sorry for my reflex posting ;) Found informations on the 3.0 Draft under
add early support for generics.

http://eclipse.org/eclipse/development/eclipse_project_plan_ 3_0.html

It says that SDK 1.5 is target to ship in first half of 2004 and
R3.0 is targeted to late 2003/early 2004. Therefore we have to wait. ;)

I hope it comes soon. I am waiting for it. (by the way does someone
remember the JDK 1.0.2? What a change we have seen since ;)
