Hello.

I want to use Eclipse with Mac OS X 10.1.5 ... I know that this could be done with previous versions. I played around with the 2.1-Release (adding an appropriate PkgInfo-file, removed xerces from my classpath, ...) but without big success. Is there still any available version that works with 10.1.x? Or does anybody have *Beginner advices* how to build such one?

Would be nice. Thanks, Florian Bahr

No, Eclipse won't run on 10.1.5 because it uses controls (and other API)
only available in Jaguar. The decision to make Eclipse dependent on Jaguar
was made 10 months ago. Eclipse versions after that date are no longer
compatible with 10.1.5 and it would be hard to change that.

Ok. Since it doesn't seem to make sence to get an old Eclipse distribution nor than buying OSX.2 (due to release of OSX.3 in fall), thanks so far, Florian Bahr
