Hi everybody !!
I am new to GMF and, after a couple of weeks "playing" with the tool, I
have been able to make some very simple things. Thanks to the GMF tutorial
I managed to solve some of the errors in my .gmfmap files on my own.
However, now I am stuck :-S.
I have built an .ecore file to represent a State-Machine meta-model. I
found no errors when generating the following files:
genmodel: Model Code and Edit Code were correctly generated
gmfgraph:
I selected Transition as the only link and Nodes for all non-abstract
classes. I added two compartments to allow putting Regions into States and
viceversa.
gmftool: I did the same selection for nodes and links than in the
gmfgraph.
gmfmap: I had to move all nodes but Region because they were
automatically selected as links (I dont know why??).I corrected all
Diagram Labels and Diagram Nodes (not automatically initialized) and added
the Compartment mappings and child mappings to Region and State.
After validating the whole map and trying to generate .gmfgen file, I get
7 error messages saying nothing but:
the Top level node 'Containment Feature' must be available in the diagram
'Domain Element' or its super-class
I have had this error before in other projects and I corrected it just
including the Containment Feature of some nodes where it was missing. But,
in this case, I have checked them all and they seem to be OK.
Can anybody help me?
Thanks in advance,
Cristina
