when I generate Card that uses "Username Token", the card can be generated
successfully and will be imported Higgins cardspace automatically, but
when I generate Card that uses self signed SAML Token, athough I can
download the card, it can't be imported into cardspace. I have checked the
tomcat log and console, and I can't find any exception or error. Note that
when I open the card with text editor, I find no exception either and it
seems there is lots of information in the card.

Wich kind of error gives the Cardspace client when you import the card?
Maybe says that the card can't be imported?
If you generate a managed card with a self certificate that windows have
not installed or do not trust cardspace doesn't allow to import the card
(at least my client).
