WinXp, R2.1

No use case -- it was just spontaneous. I can still see Todos and
warnings, but no compiler errors. Any clues?

Maybe one of the Task view filters is active.

Nope, I of course checked that: no combination of filters allows errors
to be seen (including "revert to defaults"). And in fact, just now it
got worse -- errors that the file thinks are fixed are the only ones to
show up in the Task View. I suspect metadata corruption and will blow
it all away and restart ...
