I notice that when I save and load my _diagram file, the top-level container
object is associated with a resource but its children are not. Why is this?
Is there a mechanism in place for making sure they are saved to the
resource?

The reason I ask is because after completing a diagram, I plan on using the
resource as a repository. Is there a better way to do this than to use the
resource?
