[CVS] problems with CVSNT [message #69341] Tue, 10 June 2003 09:58 Go to next message
Eclipse UserFriend
Hi all
i'm using CVSNT server in my machine
when i try to share a project in the repository in it i get this message

CVSNT repository ':pserver:jkhalil@jkhalil:/Tools' is configured to use a
repository prefix. However, CVSNT does not always properly communicate
resource paths in this mode resulting in the failure of some specialized
Eclipse CVS operations. The use of a repository prefix should be disable if
the full functionality of the Eclipse CVS client is desired

note: i got message like it when i first created the repository

how can i solve this???
thanks

You need to load the CVSNT applet from the Control Panel. Under the
"Repositories" tab, uncheck "Repository Prefix". Note that this will change
your CVSROOT, and if you have TortoiseCVS or any similar applications, you
will need to make the appropriate changes.
