Ecore diagram editor: how to hide class annotations? [message #66422] Fri, 20 October 2006 10:00

In my .ecore_diagram ALL classes show two class-annoatations
(http://www.eclipse.org/emf/2002/GenModel and
http:///org/eclipse/emf/ecore/util/ExtendedMetaData). Obviously these
stem from the XSD => EMF conversion or the .genmodel creation (or from
wherever - I don't really care).

Since annotations that are ALL the same and are attached to EACH element
do not really carry very much information I would like to hide those,
since they very much clutter up the diagram and hinder focusing on the
really important stuff.

However, under Diagram => Filters... the "Sort/Filter compartment items"
menu entry is grayed out and the "Show/Hide compartments" entry only
lists the name compartment as possibly being filtered.

Can one somehow get rid of these class annotations (just optically I
mean - I guess for the functioning of the model or GMF they are probably
necessary...).
