Could not find framework after ugrading BIRT t 1.01 [message #65352]

I have free actuate BIRT installed previous, copied the installation from
http://download.eclipse.org/birt/downloads/. and startup BIRT but encounter
the following error :

at org.eclipse.core.launcher.Main.run(Main.java:704)
at org.eclipse.core.launcher.Main.main(Main.java:688)

Any idea why ?

You probably have an issue with versioning.

Upgrade to the latest version of Eclipse 3.1.

Delete all old versions of the emf and gef libraries.

Install the new versions of emf and gef.
emf-sdo-runtime-2.1.0.zip
GEF-runtime-3.1.zip

Install the new version of BIRT.
birt-report-framework-1.0.1.zip
birt-runtime-1.0.1.zip

Restart eclipse with the -clean option.

If in doubt, try doing a clean install of Eclipse 3.1 and install the latest
versions of emf, gef, and BIRT.
