Does GMF touch the .ecore file? [message #65314] |

Whenever I create the .gmfgen file (i.e. the GMF generator model) I get
a warning:
------------------
GenModel seems to be stale, would you like to try to reload it?
Resource platform:/resource/<project>/model/<model>.ecore is
newer (Oct 18, 2006) than genmodel (Oct 18, 2006)
....
------------------
I have deleted and recreated (i.e. "derived" via the dashboard) the
..genmodel a couple of times now and the first time after the recreation
there was no such alert, but next time it re-appeared. I haven't changed
anything in the .ecore recently - at least not that I am aware of...
So why keeps GMF alerting me re. that stale .genmodel file???
Is GMF for some reason touching (i.e. updating the date of) the .ecore
file?
