Hi Daniel,

the communication between the two sides are plain http requests. This
means that there is no encryption happening if you use it as is. As with
every other web application you should be able to secure the
communication with a https connection. There are lot of documents
describing how to enable SSL with Jetty, Tomcat or JBoss.
Theoretically there should be no problem. As we never had the chance to
test it we're glad for any feedback in this area or if there is
something which prevents you from doing so.
