Hello there.
Is it possible to configure CDateTime (style: CDT.DROP_DOWN |
CDT.DATE_MEDIUM | CDT.COMPACT) in a way, so that selecting a date with a
mouse click the dropdown closes immediately after the selection?
Furthermore is it possible to activate the drop down by hitting
CTRL+Cursor Down?
Hitting CR closes the dropdown.
Regards,
Peter

this is how it started out, but got confusing when more date and time
patterns were possible and therefore it was eliminated for consistency's
sake. if you'd like to discuss how a completed selection could be
indicated across several different patterns, then please open a bug and
I'll follow up there.

should CTRL+Cursor_Down replace CTRL+Space? should a setter be added to
make the key combo configurable? currently there is no convenient way
of setting this - is it worth adding the api? open a bug if you think
it is.

that sounds about right... ESC should close it too.
