message.properties out of sync [message #59756] Fri, 29 April 2005 14:38 Go to next message

I am using Eclipse to write a Java project. Last week I used the
'Externalize Strings' option. This week when I go to use this option,
Eclipse informs me that "Resource './xxx/messages.properties' is out of
sync with the file system." I have replaced the Externalized Strings in
the Java code and have deleted the messages.properties file. The hope was
that Eclipse would recreate it when I tried to use the 'Externalize
Strings' again. Unfortunately, this did not work. What should I do to be
able to use 'Externalize Strings' again?

Thanks,

T. Cormode

Refresh (hit F5) the hierarchy under your Java project to pickup the file
system delete.
