| Offline mode and relationship with GoogleGears [message #58910] | Fri, 09 November 2007 04:19 | |
| Eclipse User | | | | | Hello, We have seen that the sens of history is to merge desktop applications and
webapps... A second point is also to have more and more applications which
can be used or in connected mode either in offline mode (see firefox3.0,
 google gears, Silverlight, AIR)...
It is a hot point in my opinion (see for instance Performance Point from
Microsoft which can be used in the two modes)... So I would like to know
if today it is alreadu possible to do this with RAP, and if not, what is
planned in the future to comply with this requirement?
 best regards
 Xavier

| Eclipse User | | | | | Hello, Thanks for the answer... If we have to do this, how could we do?
Is it envisageable to use google gears techno in combination awith RAP,
 and how?
Could it be possible to envisage otherwise a thin eclipse framework on
client side (like for Yahoo gadgets, or Google desktop, ...) in the case
where the connection would not be accessible?
 regards
 xavier
