Runnning ANT from keyboard [message #58473] Mon, 16 June 2003 11:20
Eclipse UserFriend
Is it possible to assign a keyboard shortcut for running ANT with the
build.xml in the project root directory (e.g. with the default target) -
and, a little more special: would it be possible to assign different ANT
tasks to different keys?

This would be a very useful feature. Since I'm developing in the MIDP
environment, I'm using ANT (with Antenna) both for compiling and
starting my application (in the emulator). Having something like "run
ant with target 'run'" on F9 and "start a debug session with ant, using
target 'rundbg'" on Shift+F9 would be great!

Is at least running ant from the keyboard possible? And how? I couldn't
find it in the key bindings in Windows/Preferences...

thanks,
david
