CDT and Eclipse 2.1 [message #58295] Thu, 16 January 2003 07:19 Go to next message

Hi

I have searched the newsgroup and looked at the homepage but couldn't find
the answer to my question.
When do you expect to make a build of CDT that is compatible with the 2.1
version of Eclipse?
This question was raised earlier on this newsgroup but not answered.

Regards
Anders

Hi Anders,

I unzipped the newest CDT-build into my 2.1M4, and it didn't make it
crash or anything, so you might try that too?

I'm totally new to the CDT, so I can't tell you if any functionality
disappers if it is installed in 2.1 - I suspect not.

Sorry if I missed your earlier question.
Eclipse 2.1 is not a final version. We ... the CDT ... will move to Eclipse
2.1 sometime shortly after it has been declared final and GA.

This information will eventualy be available in the CDT plans in a more
timely manner.
