Hi I have tried to use cvs to download the trac connector source, but I am
not able to due to proxy issues.
Is there a way to download it from somewhere other than thru cvs?

You can install the Extras SDK feature the Mylyn Extras update site:

http://www.eclipse.org/mylyn/downloads
