Problem with problems view [message #57810] Tue, 26 April 2005 14:19 Go to next message

I am using eclipse 3.0.1 to do Java development. Sometime yesterday all
of a sudden when I double click on a line in the problems view it shows me
only the smallest bit of what caused the error. For example if the problem
is an import it shows me only the import. In the past I was able to double
click on a problem and see the entire file. What setting/preference
controls this behaviour. This doesn't seem to be folding because the
carets aren't visible on the left hand.

Cheers

More information, it's not just the problems view I get the same behavior
navigating from search and package explorer. If I double-click on a
member function for example all I see in the editor window is that member
function, not the entire file positioned to that function.

Thanks for your help.

You have turned on Show Source of Selected Item Only. You can toggle this
by clicking on the Show Source icon in the tool bar. It looks like a page
of text with part of the text pulled out.
