Hi all,
I want to pass parameters to my report which are id of some records (e.g.
customer number) and I want to present the list of possible values. I make a
Data Set form table where these ids are. Then define type of displaying my
parameters as ComboBox with values taking from this Data Set. And everything
is OK. But my users ask if they can see name of customers instead of
numbers. And I don't know what to do. I know that I can define Display Text
in properties of selection values. But my values are displayed dynamically
so I can't use this options. I also can't simply get names in Data Set
because my parameters in sql are ids. But maybe I can do sth what will
translate names to ids (names are unique)? Is it possible?
Any help will be greatly appreciated.
