I wonder if there some support for the GNU Autotools planned. I
searched this newsgroup but only found some old threads about this. I
think it was dealing with the old IBM CDT. Someone posted a feature
request that it would be useful to have a Makefile.am view. Is anyone
working on it?

Besides that I wonder if it is possible/desireable to write a
Makefile.am and/or configure.ac *editor*. Is some sort of this
planned? This would be very useful, since much open source software
uses these autotools. Me too.
