plugins is not a valid directory when launching through Java Web Start [message #56677]

I am running an RCP application with Eclipse 3.2 M4 from Java Web Start,
JRE 5.0. This application used to run fine with Eclipse 3.1.1. After
upgrading to 3.2 M4, it does not launch through Java Web Start. It does

!ENTRY org.eclipse.update.configurator 2006-01-12 16:32:13.523
!MESSAGE c:\tmp\javaws\http\<hostname>\<port>\DMtplive\plugins is not a
valid plugins directory.

The plugins were downloaded by jws into DMplugins and not plugins
directory.

Any ideas on how to get around this.
