 If I import an existing project that was created with Eclipse and VE, VE
 doesn't activate.

 Is there something I missing to activate VE for a visual class within this
 existing project?

 Solved my own problem with some additional research in the group...

 Whenever you'd rather open a class with the Java editor rather than the
 Visual Editor, select the class in the package explorer, right click on
 it and choose Open With->Java Editor. The association of that file will
 change to always open with the Java Editor, until you choose to Open
 With->Visual Editor later on.
