IBM contribution and issues with search in 3.0.1 [message #53875] Fri, 19 November 2004 02:33

I am running 3.0.1 on JDK 1.4.1. After installing the IBM contribution
and required plugins, search and a number of other functions that have
to do with locating compilation units stopped working. To be more exact,
search works but it never completes. Cancelling the search has no
effect. Backgrounding the search makes the memory heap grow unbounded
and quickly bring the app down.

Couple of questions.

1. Is this a known issue and if so, is there a fix.

2. Is there a way to disable the JSP-related plugins. Looking at the
details on the search dialog shows that JSP indexing is taking place.
