Yesterday I installed Eclipse 3.3, WST 2.0, PDT (9/12 nightly) and
Subclipse (1.2.x) onto my 24" iMac running OS X 10.4.10. Everything was
working great until I moved all my tabs into "fast views." I like it
that way to minimize the amount of stuff on the screen.
Problem, after I quit Eclipse and relaunched it, Eclpse would lock up
completely (no processor usage, just unresponsive app) when I tried to
expand the PHP Explorer tab, as well as a couple of other ones.
My only recourse was to either kill the .metadata file in the workspace
folder, or to delete the PHP project files directly in the file system
(so it couldn't load the project and get gummed up).
For now, I keep the PHP Explorer view always open and the problem
doesn't happen when I open Eclipse. I have less screen space now, but
it's 24" so I think I'll manage, heh.
Anyone else run into this?
Adam.
